With a stunning retro vibe and genuine dance floor filling potential ‘Upside Of Life’ by vocalist Karen Linette is currently checking every Smooth Jazz Therapy box imaginable. Written by Chris Big Dog Davis and Angie Phillips it features smooth jazz superstar Najee on flute plus background vocals from Dawn Tallman and percussion from Kevin Kojo Prince. Top notch.
Karen Linette goes by many names, but commander of crowds is probably the most accurate! The singer has vocals that can blow any crowd away-and it truly seems effortless. Karen’s 2018 album “Couldn’t Luv U,” is a work of art that invites you into a tender and romantic embrace. The album only features two songs, but it is enough to leave you feeling-actually needing-more!
